Hollow Vs Shinigami [Mission, Private]

Mission:

Kosuke was in the Human world still, but now he had a much better grasp on his powers and was what he would consider a fully fledged hollow now. He actually hunted human souls much like he was hunted what felt like years ago. It wasn't that long ago however, but he had changed so much in such a short amount of time, it would feel that way to anyone. Looking around the town, he found that there was a powerful soul nearby that would help to ease his apatite. He would leap across the rooftops to begin hunting it, like the predator he was.

The soul was an old man, who seemed to be taking a walk in a park. Easy target for the Owl Hollow, but he sometimes enjoyed watching his prey, he found the waiting improved their flavoring. The old man was ripe for the picking, just meandering at a slow pace with his ethereal cane in hand. It seemed as though in life he enjoyed completing this very task, so Kosuke could tell that he would be predictable and as such an even easier target for hunting. It was always something he enjoyed, though he did also somewhat enjoy instilling fear in his prey. He took a moment to be ashamed of how far he had fallen, but shook it away at the sound of his stomach growling.

Looking down on the old man he was about to swoop down when he sensed an even more powerful pressure appear right nearby. His hunger and curiosity getting the best of him, he would leave the old man be, turning to move to investigate the new pressure. Once he got to that area, he found a man dressed in black robes with a sword waiting for him. The man drew his sword and started spouting some nonsense about killing these mindless monsters before they could do any more harm to the balance of the world. He seemed to be referring to Kosuke judging by the way he pointed his blade at the Owl.

Kosuke made no move other than tilting his head to the side. It was clear that the man intended to attack him, it was time to fight if that was the case. Kosuke didn't move as the man drew his blade to the side, and then rushed into action, moving at a speed that was easily trackable, Kosuke watched as he approached and delivered an all too predictable strike to his mask, though instead of cutting the mask, it blew off the mans arms. That was Kosuke's power. Kosuke would then draw from the man's endurance, making him frail and weak as he approached and loomed over the disarmed man... heh, he loved making puns to himself.

He would then lean down to whisper into the mans ear, "I am no more a monster than you. Do you think humans defend the ants beneath their boots? Do you think they care how the cow they devour feels when they cut it down for a meal? I must eat, they are simply my prey. You are simply my prey." And with that, Kosuke would eat the man whole, his stomach dissolving the mans soul as though it were some other common food that he would have enjoyed in his human life, but that was over now. This was his life from now on.
