Physical Description: Wo Babajak is an outlier among hollows, especially those of the Menos class. While the predatory nature of Hollow existence tends to lean more towards large, physically aggressive body types, Wo was unfortunately born into the world with a very small, squat body. Barely three feet in height, he is easily overlooked by much larger, more powerful Hollows. Wo has short, bandy legs, almost like an ape, and his arms are a bit too long for his stocky build. When Wo wants to run he will typically do it on all fours, though when attempting to be quiet he will shift his balance between whatever limbs he pleases and transitions into an odd, rolling gait. Wo has four fingers on each hand, 4 toes on each foot, and wears a skull-like mask typical for hollows. His skin is a putrid shade of green, and he usually stands in a hunched posture, or squats, making himself appear smaller than he really is. His fingers and toes are tipped with small, sharp claws.

Overall Personality: Wo Babajak is a furtive, conniving creature. Having lost the lottery on size, Wo makes up for his lack of stature by having an incredibly cunning mind, especially for a Hollow. Babajak uses his abilities and skills in stealth to avoid detection by larger hollows. He is fearful of danger, cowardly, and risk-averse. Frequently, Wo can be seen muttering to himself, or rummaging about in refuse looking for things he can use. Wo is not opposed to partnering with others, but is equally willing to betray his fellows if he sees it as a personal victory.

History: Wo Babajak doesn’t remember much about his human life. It wasn’t very long, though he can’t be certain of the specific number of years he lived. He remembers not being very well liked, victimized by other humans his own age on a fairly regular basis. Did he have parents? He must have, but their identities are vague, blurry notions at best. There was a building he went to, every day, where other humans like him gathered in little boxes to hear an older human talk.

He hated it so much. Why did he hate it so much? The other humans were cruel, yes, that was part of it. Bobajak is often found ruminating on the fragments of his memories, trying to cobble together something coherent he could hold onto. The problem, as he sees it, is that he was simply too young when he died. Too much of his personal identity was wrapped up in what was happening to him, so he did not recognize his own impact on others. He was barely a person when he’d died: More like the potential of something bigger and greater snuffed out before its time.

He remembers his death. He’d been high, very high up. Some manner of blocky stone building, every level a flat and open space with lines painted on the rock at odd intervals. Wo remembers going to the very top, and he remembers the empty feeling of stepping out into empty space and letting gravity take over.

When he opened his eyes again, there was a chain in his chest, and he couldn’t feel anything: No variance in temperature, no weight or hunger or pressure from the air. He was empty, and the longer he lingered in that building, the colder he became. The more desperation and hunger gnawed at his stomach and mind.

No one can really say when he made the transition, but he’s done rather well for himself as a Hollow thus far. Normally, he sustains himself on the ambient Reishi of a place, always watching and waiting for larger hollows to appear and make a kill, so that he can swoop in and scavenge a bit for himself.

Hollow Power Release Phrase: None; Passive
Hollow Power Ability: Maleficar is an innate ability that remains active at all times. Its primary function allows Wo Babajak to draw on the latent Reishi in an environment and corrupt it to fuel his Eldritch Arts ability. Its second ability blends Wo’s Reiatsu presence into the environment around him, making it difficult for others to notice his presence when they are not actively searching for Reiatsu Sources. A person contests their ability to sense reiatsu  with Wo’s Reiatsu skill, and if they are successful become able to easily distinguish his Reiatsu from the Reishi in the environment.

Hollow Power Name: Eldritch Arts
Hollow Power Appearance: Spells and Techniques that utilize Eldritch Arts are fueled by corrupted Reishi gathered from the environment. When transitioning from an energy state to whatever form the spell demands, the reishi is a sickly shade of vibrant, toxic green.
Hollow Power Release Phrase: “Eldritch Arts: (Insert Technique Name Here)
Hollow Power Ability: By utilizing his innate ability “Eldritch Arts”, Wo Bobajak can use his Reiatsu to shape the corrupted reishi his Maleficar Ability produces into useful spells and abilities. These spells and abilities must be registered and paid for via the same channels as Quincy and Kido Arts, and share similar cost constraints. Wo Bobajak must carefully craft each individual technique, which is an investment of time and study in and of itself. These techniques are composed entirely of Reishi, though are distinguished by the hue of energy they use and a foul, tainted signature that can be detected with the appropriate skill level.
