Physical Description: Tall and perhaps imposing, Alejandro's stature keeps from full intimidation primarily because of his nearly perpetual smile and far off, almost dreamy gaze. Still, he is a tall, thickly built man with olive skin darkened even further by near constant exposure to the sun. His posture is quite good and he holds himself tall and squarely with impressive balance. Covering a large portion of his torso and left arm spreads a massive tattoo of a hawk. He moves almost constantly in an easy strut, swaggering quietly about with a radiating confidence. Audibly, his voice is a medium baritone, pleasant and resonant but not low enough to devolve into mumbling or obscurity. With Spanish as his native tongue, his speech is richly accented.

Alejandro wears his hear in a long mess, light curls cascading down his neck to pool in dark brown twists upon his shoulders. When working he may tie it up, but otherwise he generally allows it to simply flow freely. His eyes take their queue from his hair but are a much lighter, almost hazel brown boarding on yellow/gold, making his poker face unnerving to hold. As for clothing, he tends to more practical items, particularly when working, as stray garments kill sailors. However, in his free time he is more willing to engage in a bit of ornamentation, enjoying jackets and layers, though never anything too ostentatious.

Overall Personality: Fun loving, rambunctious, and a little bro-y, Alejandro livens any party or gathering with smooth talking, rakish charm, good looks, booze, and cigarettes. Being free-wheeling, outgoing, and generally uninhibited by normal social constraints tends to quickly endear most people to him and for those who resist, a short time in his presence usually sees them worn down. Either that or 1 to 3 shots. Either works really. As a free spirit, the man loves sailing and adventuring, roams at his leisure and wants for very little.

Lurking beneath the surface, however, is something a bit more intelligent and with a few more teeth. While Alejandro does enjoy the high rolling, consequence free life-style, he is perhaps a bit too smart for his own good. You can't exactly live the sort of life he does for free and being a spare hand on a fishing boat does not pay his bills. No, Alejandro has found himself quite skilled not only at ingratiating himself with others but with forming particularly lucrative and, in most cases, damningly extracting deals and contracts. These make up the bulk of his income, take up a large portion of his time in forming, and stem from a large, cunning, savage intellect and long, high-fidelity memory. Combining his... strange supernatural powers with a predatory instinct, this social privateer has made off like a bandit in a number of long-standing contracts.

History: Alejandro lived a rather simple and plain life in Madrid from birth until his moving away at 21. Of note, his mother died when he was 14 in a freak but honestly all routine car accident, leaving him along with his father and sister, Macarena. His father remains in Madrid, managing a construction firm, while his sister has gone on to finish her rotations and begin practice as a family practitioner. Meanwhile, Alejandro has abandoned Spain almost entirely, feeling oddly compelled to it first from his love of the sea and then through something... else.

For, as so many spiritually gifted, Alejandro grew up able to see ghosts and other supernatural entities, something which originally terrified him and now only scares him a little bit. For the most part this played a more minor role in his life, doing nothing to prevent him from pursuing a collegiate education before finding work and passage on a fishing vessel. From there he more or less bounced around during working seasons on different ships and with different crews, drifting happily from here to there and seeing the world, finding fast friends from his skills and rather unique powers, all the while being drawn closer and closer to Karakura town, nexus of the supernatural.

Meanwhile, a network of connections has sprung up around the man, making him a fringe case in the wider world of supernatural dealings. Currently, and for some time now, he has served on crews primarily as a glorified luck charm, present for the purpose of warding off cruel or simply wayward spirits thanks partially to his meager spiritual pressure but mostly because of his ability to -sort of- exorcise them by striking up a deal with the soul, ultimately ushering them on to an afterlife. Because these services extend beyond simply affecting disembodied spirits, he finds himself called up from time to time to strike a bargain, from which he tends to extract massive value for himself while his 'clients' remain, largely, none the wiser.

Presently, his travels have finally sucked him to Tokyo and, more often than he can reasonably put together, Karakura town. Spirits, shades, and ghosts keeps spring up the more time he spends at port, which during the off season can be months at a time. Between that and the continually increasing demand for supernaturally forged contracts he spends more time aground than not, something he is not particularly fond of but which does allow him to indulge in a truly outrageous gambling streak. Either way, he finds it unsettling to spend too much time in Karakura.

Power Ability: Alejandro has, his entire life, been able to enforce binding and unbreakable contracts between willing parties, typically himself and someone with whom he strikes a deal. In-person eye contact is required and both parties must obviously agree and know to what they agree, but beyond this the skill seems to have few to no restrictions. Most commonly these are physical and/or financial, such as Alejandro performing a task for a set amount of money, but they can be conjectural, such as one party receiving the other's income for next month, the result of the next contract, or something else conditional upon a theoretical outcome. As far as anyone can tell, anything, or at least near enough, that either party "possesses" is fair game for bargaining, including physical goods, but also spiritual pressure, supernatural powers, souls, years of life, organs, etc. Neither party can give something that is not theirs, but they can give something they can make. In theory, Alejandro could grant someone else supernatural powers by compressing his reishi that power, which the other person could then nurture and use.

Power Ability: Passively, Alejandro can sense powerful surface level thoughts of those around him. At his currently skill(less) level, this manifests only as strong emotions or latent, powerful desires, such as deeply held desires. Generally this sense allows him to tempt another party with a particularly juicy deal. Unlike Soul Proprietor this requires only proximity, but he can use an "active" version with sustained eye contact or physical touch. In this form, he can delve into the memories and desires of his target and, if he desires, change them. This power functions in a low grade mode all the time, attempting to make people naturally like him, though he isn't aware of this. More importantly, if his reiatsu can overpower the other person's or that person is unconscious/incapacitated, he can scan and amend their memories, potentially making them think they had, for instance, already hired him for a job. While this has extremely low combat potential, it does allow him to have the tiniest of 'danger senses,' generally meaning that he leaves a situation before it becomes too heated.
