Tiamat was still in the world of the living. She had just recently destroyed a shinigami's wish to protect the pathetic humans- in the process, losing his own life. Tiamat had devoured his soul and enjoyed the massacre she had inflicted on the children's school. Yet it wasn't enough. Not all of the children and teachers had been obliterated from her cero attacks. Some far from the center of the building had survived. She would will her wyvern hollows to fly about and find her prey for her.

Her wyverns found some, a handful of children and a teacher. The female teacher had shielded the children with her body, sustaining crippling injuries, but the children themselves remained mostly unharmed. Mentally at least. Tiamat would soon put an end to that. Few things got under her skin. Being looked down upon.. and humanity. Her wyverns, being an extension of her wills and desires, landed on the ground nearby.

The ground shook as they landed, the children seeing nothing but feeling a small earthquake as the beasts landed. One of the wyverns grabbed the barely alive teacher and picked her up, flying into the air. The children, only seeing their teacher being grabbed by something invisible and floating in the air. The woman screamed in both surprise and agony as she felt a crushing grip around her waist.

The wyvern flew into the air and towards where Tiamat now stood casually. She opened her mouth and allowed her wyvern to drop the human woman inside. She closed her maw with a powerful crunch, devouring the woman, but not her body entirely. One of her legs had been sticking out of Tiamat's mouth when she crunched down. The result, was that the female human's leg went flying and landed near the children's location.

The bloody stump startled the children, causing their paralyzed fear to turn into terror. They began to flee in several directions, but the wyvern which remained, placed its hands on both sides of the group and children and enclosed around them like a prison. To the children, and invisible wall stopped them from going forward.

Slowly, the wyvern's hands closed in smaller and smaller, so much smaller until the children were all bunched together and unable to move at all. With its task accomplished, the wyvern gripped harder, crushing the children against one another so that it could grip them all together without any of them becoming lose and falling.

With this accomplished, it too flew into the air and flew towards its mother and master. the creature floated above Tiamat's location as she opened her mouth wide. The wyvern released its grip on the children and dropped them into her mouth as if they were nothing more than some candy.

She savored the taste of pure white innocence. They were hardly filling, but she had just recently eaten the shinigami as well. he had a lot of spiritual power and these children were simply the treat after a hard day's work. Yet as the taste and the souls faded, she couldn't help but feel... well, unfulfilled. She had eaten a lot of spiritual energy and would definitely grow stronger, but she could hardly say that she was happy.

She was in the human world after so long... why should she rush back to Hueco Mundo? Maybe she'd take a stroll... was her idea. Her black cloaked form began to move- each step shaking the ground as small earthquakes.

Humans had become something more than her own human lifetime, not that she really remembered too much- it came mostly int he form of astonishment. Her astonishment was quickly replaced her by hatred and desire to destroy it all. Such human civilization. The intense hatred welled within her and she decided to act upon her impulses.

With her wyverns summoned, she began to charge ceros. If one shinigami was meant to protect a city and died... then what? Would more come to defend the city? Tiamat didn't know yet, but she figured there was one sure method to knowing. She opened her mouth wide, just as her wyverns did and released three full powered ceros into the densely packed city. Explosion after explosion rocked the city, causing devastation everywhere. Afterwards, Tiamat would wait patiently until she found what she was looking for. her spiritual attacks had caused enough of a ruckus to draw the attention of other shinigami. Gates here and there opened up to reveal a large number of shinigami. With her task completed, a crack appeared in the sky as she reached up and tored the sky open and disappeared behind the veil.
