Rails and Neptunes Kites

Janus was having a very normal day. Which meant there was no way in hell it was going to stay that way. She had been thinking about how good it was when her divination decided the phone was going to ring. She searched futures to see what the call was about and was actually annoyed. Janus realized they were going to call until she answered so she just decided to get it entirely over with by picking up the phone.

The phone call took a good twenty minutes. A spiritual human friend of Janus was dead set on having her try on costumes for his masked justice crew or something. She was on the verge of using Kage to find him and punch him in the face but she knew that would just make things worse. A few minutes later Janus had been roped into trying on costumes and grading them. She was pretty sure she visibly gagged at one point. Janus actually laughed after, she thought that was a pretty good description of herself. Gagging at the thought of wearing matching costumes. Which was interesting considering her position.

Janus took the scenic route into Tokyo, and by that she simply ran there. One of the most prominent perks of her newfound power was the ability to move like Quicksilver. She always liked being a hero, but she preferred Quicksilver, just because she thought it more realistic. Though, Janus had always been closer to the flash. She was headed to the studio that she had been called too and was confused at how expensive the building looked. The diviner walked inside and used her divination to figure out she was in the right place, and had to go up to the fourth floor.

Janus was a bit taken back and proceeded into the elevator more confused than before.

The Diviner tapped her foot as she listened to elevator music.  It was soothing, which wasn't her style but she could enjoy it every now and then.  She was more partial to jazz when it was raining than when riding elevators.  Which made the diviner think again, why was she even using an elevator.  It seemed like a waste as she sighed and wandered if she should have just run.  Though it was a thought that didn't last long as the elevator opened slowly in front of her and she walked into a room with another dam lobby.  Why did everyone have reception areas these days?

"Hello Miss, can I help you?" The receptionist asked happily as Janus walked in. "And are you sure you're in the right place?" She asked right after, Janus rolled her eyes at the lady. She was older than Janus, but not by much, maybe five years maximum, she had on make-up a generic complexion and rosy cheeks. Definitely not the same kind of girl that Janus was.

"Mister Oonoki is expecting me." The Diviner responded before signing in and walking back, as if listening to what came next didn't matter at all to the young woman.

A few moments later the diviner found herself surrounded by the 'almighty' Oonoki dancing around and tossing clothing set after costume at Janus.  Janus was definitely not amused.  In fact she wanted to punch someone in the face.  This kind of thing was so far out of her reach she wondered why she had shown up at all.  She took the clothing into the dressing room with an attitude that basically stated, let's get this the hell over with.  She looked at the lines of clothing and almost gagged, with good reason.

From basic outfits to cosplay of sentai and magical girls, it all was there, and it all seemed horrible.

Janus decided to ease into it, she shifted her coat into a torque that she left around her neck as she removed her pants and shirt. She looked at the outfits and choose the generic suit and tie. Which fit way too well for comfort as she buttoned the shirt and then quickly tried to remember the definition of over-under-up-through. She got it by using her divination and tied her hair back, finishing the ensemble with a pair of sunglasses. She took a look in the mirror as she tossed on the matching shoes, that looked like they cost more than she made in a month.

Janus left the changing room and slowly modeled for Mister Oonoki, who stood there with his wand looking her over. He made some notes on a piece of paper before screaming. "Next."

Janus walked back into the changing room and grabbed the next outfit, which was a sentai outfit. She wanted to puke, but less than some of the others. The Diviner made her way out of the suit and tie and slowly put on the form fitting outfit. She was ready to beat Oonoki to death when she realized this too actually fit her body. This was both weird, and sickening, she thought as she pulled up the half plug suit and slid her arms into it before zipping up the back. The helmet made the look complete and she left the changing room with a really bad attitude.

Oonoki made more notes and made Janus spin around a few times and even pose, she looked like she was going to murder something before sending her back to change.

Janus got out of the sentai outfit as quickly as she hated getting into it. She looked around and wanted to facepalm, the outfits left were gothic lolita, magical girl, and fantasy. Murder flared in her eyes as she put on the fantasy outfit that made her look something akin to a slutty elf in a game not designed for children. The top, if you could call it that, blocked what she was sure was less than her bra when she was done and looking in the mirror. The skirt rode up and she wanted to kill something bad.

Oonoki watched Janus model the outfit and if he cared about the fact that she was dressed like something out of a magazine a teenager would hide under the bed, he didn't show it. He took some more notes, and once again sent her back into the changing room.

Janus got out of the clothing for the elf in an instant. It was easy considering HOW LITTLE OF IT THERE WAS. She sighed and looked at the lolita maid and slowly began dressing. She failed at the frills and the bows repeatedly. Janus kind of had to use a lot of divination to figure out how each pieces of this god-forsaken puzzle took. It was annoying to say the least.

Janus looked the mirror and sighed before leaving the room and modeling the outfit, Oonoki wanted her to make some maid poses but the Diviner just spun. There was no way in hell she was doing anything like that.

The last outfit was the worst. It took Janus the better part of half an hour to put on the magical girl outfit. Mainly because it didn't fit her at all. Then Oonoki tossed different magical girl items into the changing room and made the Diviner accessorize. She wanted to kill something really bad. In fact, her murderous gaze could be felt probably miles away. It was a good thing that Oonoki didn't seem to care in the slightest.

The moment she left the changing room she knew she had made a mistake as Oonoki took a dam picture! She was going to flat out kill him, but avoided it by the narrowest frame because at her core, Janus was a hero. Though, she immediately went back into the changing room, put her normal clothes on and stomped the hell out.
