It has been a few days since the shinigami has graduated from the Academy. Since then he has been doing his best to get used to the division, and new lifestyle. Some of the people within his squad were seemingly amazing people while others no so amazing. It seemed that some people felt all high and mighty being a Shinigami. Others were just happy to be called a Shinigami of the Gotei 5. Everything was a lot different that back in the town where he once resided, but it wasn’t going to be too big of a change. So, he had made his way through the Third Division HQ when someone of higher ranked stopped him. Naxel didn’t really know who this man was, but figured it wouldn’t be the last time they would meet. He was given orders to find and locate a missing child from the Rukongai. They were last seen making their way into the Shinigami Academy, from eye witnesses. Naxel didn’t know whether to be excited or nervous about his first mission. All he knew was that he had to keep his expressions sealed while, also, executing the mission. Nonetheless, he decided to go ahead and get started in locating this missing child.

It seemed like it was a farther distance than what it probably was. His body wasn’t entirely exhausted, because he walked about half the way. He figured that this mission would be pretty east to do since he just graduated from this place. Everything about this whole property was still fresh in his mind. Naxel would then make his way of the iconic stairs to head into the front entrance of the institution. Once inside he would look around to try and figure out where this child might be hiding. For all he knew was that the kid could just be wondering around for all he knew. I wonder if the kid might be hungry, and knew there would be food here? He thought to himself. So, he made his way down one of the halls to make his way towards the Dining Hall. And on the way, he happened to notice some familiar faces that he knew from his time here. Most of whic were people that were one, to two, years behind him. Some of them wondered why he was here, and he would go on to explain why. During his talk he would go to ask if any of them happened to see a child wondering around here. Sadly, they informed him that they had not seen any child wondering around. This wasn’t really a shock to him, because they are more focused on their studies. Naxel would then say his byes to make his way towards the dining hall in hopes to find a clue of this child.

A little bit of time went on before Naxel made it to the dining area. When he walked inside there were students of all ages everywhere. Naxels eyes grew a little bit bigger due to him forgetting how packed this place could get. He would then go in to start looking around for the young child that he was tasked to find. The first spot he decided to take a peak at was the food line. Next, he went down each row of tables to see if they were hiding under one of them. Lastly, he just started to ask random people if they happened to of seen a child wondering around. Naxel would then come to the conclusion that they wasn’t here, and that no one here has seen any child. So this area was a bust for him. The only thing he could thing of now was just to wonder down the halls to see if thats where they might be.

The Shinigami took his leave from the dining area, and out into the halls. When he started to make his way down that hall he heard someone yelling behind him. Naxel turned his head around to notice that there was a man chasing a child. “Get back here you little kid!” The man screamed at the little one. Once Naxel realized that it was a child he was chasing he turned his body around to try and stop them. The kid would then run into Naxel while he had his head turned backwards looking at the one chasing them. “Woah woah now. What are you doing running from this man little one?” Speaking softly with a gentle tone to the kid. They would reply back with that they wanted to attend this place to become a shinigami. Naxel would chuckle at the kids response. “Well, I am sorry to say that you can’t attend this place just yet. But don’t get a sad face over it. One day you will be able to attend here, and become one of the best Shinigami this place has ever seen.” The child would then have stars in their eyes from his response. Naxel would take the kids hand for them to start heading back to the child’s mother. “Don’t worry sir, I will handle the rest from here.” He said to the man chasing the child before they finally left.
