Equipment System
Weapons are ranked the same as techniques from Beginner to Grand Master. This rank is given based on the overall strength of the weapon itself (durability) and the abilities the weapon possesses. Ranks, abilities and prices are given on a case to case basis at staff discretion. It takes two staff signing off on your weapon for it to be approved at its current state.
Weapon strength is very specific based on the rank of the weapon from Beginner to Grand Master: ]Note: for weapons that base their power on non-physical means, such as Aizen's Zanpakuto's ability, weapons are __ + Reiatsu stat.]
Beginner- 200 + Strength Stat
Novice- 300 + Strength Stat
Adept- 400 + Strength Stat
Expert- 500 + Strength Stat
Master- 600 + Strength Stat
Grand Master- 700 + Strength Stat
Next we cover damage types. This has no effect on rank or damage done, but more the type of damage that is dealt based on what kind of weapon you have to help RPers facing your weapon determine how your attacks affect them.
Slashing types - depending on weapon rank and opponent tier/durability, this type of damage cuts through skin or even bone. Most commonly seen in a swing of a sword or other bladed weapon.
Bashing types - depending on weapon rank and opponent tier/durability, this type of damage can break bones or even break armor or other defensive jutsu. Commonly seen in hammers or other non-bladed weapons.
Piercing types - depending on weapon rank and opponent tier/durability, this type of damage goes straight into an opponent in a straight line. Usually going in one side and out the other. Commonly seen in a jabbing attack with a sword or other bladed weapon.
One or more of these types of damage can apply to your weapon. This is simply to help opponents IC react realistically when hit by an attack.
[ZANPAKUTŌ/SPIRIT WEAPONS are unique in this system as their Rank is equivalent to their user's TIER. Tier is determined by the letter your Level falls under in the Level System.]

Equipment is ranked much like Techniques from Beginner to Grand Master. This rank is given based on the overall strength of the Equipment itself (durability) and the abilities the Equipment possesses. Ranks, abilities and prices are given on a case to case basis at staff discretion. It takes two staff signing off on your weapon for it to be approved at its current state. It should be stated that TYPE of equipment also has an effect on final price.
Equipment durability is how much your item can stand before it is broken. This works off of the normal durability stat. And correlates with your opponents strength stat.
The types of equipment are as follows:
Armor: This is an item that is worn in the place of or over top of traditional clothing to add to one's durability. It should be noted that one's armor can ONLY add to durability and no other stat.
Beginner- +200 Endurance
Novice- +300 Endurance
Adept- +400 Endurance
Expert- +500 Endurance
Master- +600 Endurance
Grand Master- +700 Endurance
Combat Items: These are items that are used within combat in order to harm ones opponents. These include things like smoke bombs and explosives.
Support Items: These items are used to aid your character while in combat. These can be things like reiatsu replenishing pills, healing powder or other medical supplies.
Equipment can only be of ONE type. One can only receive buffs from TWO pieces of Equipment at a time, and only ONE buff per stat.
Generic (Minimum) Cost of Weapons/Equipment:
Rank-Base Price-Number of Abilities
Beginner-500 Kan-0 Abilities
Novice-1,500 Kan-0 Abilities
Adept-2,500 Kan-1 Ability
Expert-4,000 Kan-2 Abilities
Master -6,000 Kan-3 Abilities
Grand Master -8,000 Kan-4 Abilities
Each ability adds a minimum of +1,000 Kan to your total price. This can be increased depending on the nature of the ability itself as well as the nature of the item itself.
Adept Items are capable of abilities such as conducting Reiatsu, or extending/transforming.
Expert Items are capable of discharging Reiatsu/firing it, or adding to one's stats.
Master/Grand Master Items are capable of adding to one's stats, absorbing Reiatsu, or firing Reiatsu.
Item stat increases are limited as follows due to it being a passive boost that allows you to go over the cap:
Expert: +100 to any singular stat.
Master: +200 to any singular stat.
Grand Master: +300 to any singular stat.
