Missions 2

Mission 1:

Kosuke woke up with a start as he coughed up blood all over his blankets. Great, another tough wash morning. Getting out of bed he would ball up his sheets and take them downstairs to the Washing Machine. Once he got it in, he decided he would go for a walk around the block to kill time. Once he got outside he found that it was actually a nice day out, perfect for a walk around the block. So he started off, moving at a leisurely pace until he heard a yell. It sounded as though some little kid was yelling for help, so, he took off in that direction.

Once he turned the corner, he found three older guys harassing a little kid. Jumping over the fence nearby, he would approach them before calling out, "Hey! You all should pick on someone your own si-" He then entered a coughing fit for several seconds while they dropped the kid and started to advance on him. "Yeah? I guess you mean yourself, right?" The thug seemed to laugh as he said it, obviously not taking Kosuke very seriously. That was fine as he blurred out of their frame of vision before appearing next to them, chopping them on the neck. "You head on home kid." He would say without even turning around.

Mission 2:

Once the kid left, Kosuke was about to continue on his merry way, when he heard soft crying. Turning, he saw a different little kid, walking up to him, he realized the kid was a soul. "Hey little guy, whats wrong?" He had interacted with many souls before, so this was nothing new. The kid told him that he wanted to go back to his old play ground which was across town, but the monsters he could hear scared him. Kosuke felt bad for the kid, so he decided that he would walk him over there. And so, the two of them set off for the playground at the edge of town.

Grabbing the kid's hand Kosuke would begin walking him across the town. It was something he was glad to be able to do, helping souls cross over was always more rewarding than anything else one could do in life, that was his opinion anyways. The two of them walked in relative silence as the kid had stopped crying, though the occasional beastly wail from the distance always made him clench Kosuke's hand tighter. Kosuke had yet to find out what made those sounds, but he knew it couldn't be good. Once they arrived at the playground, the kids eyes lit up and he had a smile on his face. With that, he was enveloped in a bright light and lifted into the air. It was always nice to see a spirit move on to whatever comes next.
