Physical Description: Janus looks somewhere between a punk rock princess and a hair metal drop out.  She wears suggestive clothing concealed by a jacket that looks like it's seen better days but was actually specifically designed that way.  Her walk is one of carelessness like most of her motions and she seems devoid of most reactions that are normal in physical stances.  She rarely gets surprised the same way others do and she thinks more carefully about her movements and actions because she can see where they lead.  She walks with a slight jarring of her shoulders, denoting hidden musculature and her body looks skinny.

Dislikes:
Spiritual Racism || Janus doesn't believe in spiritual racism, she also doesn't like the names people call themselves, you can't be a god if you can die.  
People who like to hear themselves Talk || Janus has people problems, and it shows especially when she has to listen to someone essentially in echoing stereo.
Sweet things || Janus doesn't have a sweet tooth, she doesn't know why and it isn't something she likes at all.

Likes:
Food || Janus is a chef, she loves food.
Music || Janus uses music to ground herself in reality.
Mysteries || Being as curious as Janus is, she loves odd jobs and things that she has to go find out, especially when she can't directly learn things about it.

Flaws:
Insane || Janus believes that she might actually be crazy, and everything is simply a part of that.  As such she tends to come off as dismissive and, crazy.
Heroic || Janus wants to be a hero, no matter how stupid that is.  It puts her in bad situations and gives her worse ideas.
Curious || Curiosity killed the anguished cat, it also defines Janus to a dot and because of it makes her quite often end up in bad places.

Habits:
Musical Wallflower || Janus loves listening to music, she has a set of headphones that can be turned out to become speakers and is constantly listening to music to sort of tune out her normal weirdness.  She sticks to rock from all over the globe and quite a bit of odd metal.
Self-Discussions || Janus can get displaced and end up answering questions and such before someone asks.  Simply because her mind runs a little faster than her words do.  So she ends up being slightly insane at times.
Cooking || Janus is a top notch chef, and it shows, she uses it to do what she wants too.  Plus, she never has to directly taste her food, she knows it's that good.

Fears:
Quicksand || Not the actual stuff.  Janus has an irrational fear of making bad decisions that lead to bad decisions that lead to bad decisions.  This is due to the fact that she actually knows how bad it can get, and it can always get worse.
Manipulative Individuals || Janus thrives off cheating, and information.  After all she's not a powerhouse and she knows she probably won't be.  As such when someone is manipulative, her options get very limited and she tends to bury herself in a hole afterwards.  They have the advantage of numbers, and she comes off sounding insane.
Witches || Janus is scared of witches, not sure why whenever she watches a movie with them or hears a story, she tends to nope out.

Goals:
Janus has one goal, she wishes to stop spiritual racism.  Unfortunately, it's a bit like world piece.  Other than that, she does what she can at the time things happen.

Alignment: Chaotic Good

Overall Personality: Janus is curious by nature.  It's probably a drawback to being a Diviner.  She sees something that is nit picky at the back of her mind, then she just decides to go find out what it is.  If she had to have an overall goal, she would honestly just say it's learning enough that free-will would no longer matter in her potential futures.  Which of course, is impossible, so she likes to stick with finding out things she does not know.  Seeing people in black robes and  masked demons that may or may not be an illusion or derangement, has become a passing fascination for her to understand and learn more about.  Janus also likes helping people.  Especially when hired to do so, she's a sucker for people in distress.  After all if curiosity didn't kill the anguished cat, chances are it will probably get Janus killed.  If there was a way that Janus' abilities could make the world a better place, she would be one of the first people to go looking for it.  Honestly if she had to look back a few decades from now.  If she had saved even a few people and helped a few more with her gifts, she'd probably say she did pretty good.  Or if she had her own comedy show, but that's not really relevant most times.

Janus' fighting style is extremely confusing and odd.  Though once someone has seen it and determined how it works, its extremely easy to counter.  Janus summons her own potential futures.  As she does so, she attacks as if each would attack, though they are limited to her own knowledge and reiatsu, which means they do little damage and kill by a thousand cuts, not by overwhelming force.  While it is chaotic and a lot of enemies potentially for someone to deal with, by watching her face and the actions of the two-faced reflections of Janus it can be easily outdone by a number of easily used strategies.  She has no actual fighting experience, and simply does whatever future action she can.

Birthplace: Sicily, Italy

Current Residence: A small Hotel in Karakura outskirts overlooking the park on the south cliff.

History: Janus' childhood was rather boring and simple. She was born at a hospital in Sicily, and lived the first few years of her life in relative safety and comfort.  However, Janus was always plagued with night terrors. She often dreamed of loud screams or heard them outside her bedroom, she was not entirely sure if they were real or not.  Janus' first major escapade with her powers was more of the inciting incident than anything else. She was in elementary school when suddenly she started seeing flashes of information and conversations that Janus thought were being displaced.  For instance, she would talk to someone, and then she would blink and be having the same conversation with them again.  A few weeks later, the time displacement had gotten so bad that Janus' young mind could not discern what was real and began sobbing uncontrollably.  Her parents, not knowing what to do, gave her to a childhood psychologist who decided to put Janus in a mental institution for a “short period” in order to see if they could scare or remiss Janus into no longer having the thoughts. This actually proved to be a boon because of the obviously routine area that Janus was allowed to calm down and learn more about what was happening.  The day in and day out, with the same schedule repeating itself with the same orderlies allowed her to understand that she was viewing potential futures.  Janus made a habit during the first part of her stay in getting thrown into solitary.  She did this because, in solitary, the future does not change.  She can sit on her bed and nothing will happen until someone comes to check on her at set intervals.

Janus learned to use her power over the course of the two years she was locked up in an asylum. Originally, Janus did not understand what she was seeing or how it worked. Over time she eventually came to realize that everyone has choices and each choice or action that could have been a different choice, changes the potential future. Janus slowly learned to use her power by extreme repetition, practice makes perfect.  While Janus was in no way perfect, she got enough control over the ability to sense potential futures to break out of the asylum and has since then has kept it slightly under wraps.

The idea for Janus' BnB came from one of their high school friends in Karakura, specifically one of the more well-do friends that had hired Janus to find things for them before.  Janus was always good at finding things since she got a grasp on her powers.  Janus did not have to pay for it, so why would they say no?  Janus spends six days a week on double shift at the BnB when she is not on retainer for an odd job to make additional money on the side.

Janus was finally pushed into the pool by an encounter with a masked-monster. Janus had taken a job to find a ring for a client . It was rather simple for her, just look for the item via path walking near where it was lost, and usually she would come up with some clue as to where to go from there. It was around then that Janus heard the roar, or scream, from the masked-monster.  While she had heard screams similar in the backdrop of the past, this was the first time that it was actually near Janus. Her own power screamed at her just in time for her to jump out of the way as the monster barreled through a fence nearby.  Janus stood utterly taken back and confused. Her mind raced, wondering if she was going even more crazy, or that she was hallucinating.  The weirder part was something was chasing it, a person in black robes!  Janus proceeded to spend the rest of the night, after finding the ring, drinking whatever the hell had happened away. Unfortunately, Janus is a Diviner, and wondered what exactly had happened.

Over the next few years, between running her place and learning more about the spiritual world, Janus came to a number of conclusions.  First, she wasn’t crazy, which was probably the most important thing she would ever teach herself.  Next, she wasn’t directly powerful, but because she could see potential futures, she could manipulate them to give her the strength to be a threat.  Three, everyone and their brother in the spiritual world like threats for some reason.  Janus eventually learned how to pull futures out of air to give herself more power.   Though they were obviously weaker than what they could be, they gave her enough of a boost to confuse pretty much everyone.

Power Name: Divination
Power Appearance: None, Janus does it automatically.
Power Release Phrase: Not Applicable
Power Ability: They have been called oracles, prophets, watchers, and foreseers.  Janus prefers the term, Diviner.  Janus can see potential futures.  Hundreds of thousands of millions of them.   These come with some very specific tags.  Janus’ ability to see the future is based on the potential actions someone could take.  The more free will there is near her or the more chaotic everything is, the overall weaker this power is.  Combat is not a place for a Diviner without a plan, and Janus can tell you if her plan is going to work or not.   This allows her to path walk through potential futures, and pull her own future powers to herself while released.  While unreleased, Janus just appears to have heightened reaction times and has one-sided conversations that may or may not look like she’s crazy.  

Janus uses this power in two main ways.  For information gathering, and for defense.  Her ability to attack is limited to things only normal humans can do for the moment.  So, she usually tries to lead things into traps.

NOTE: This power does NOT allow Janus to auto dodge or auto hit, just because she can see something happening, doesn't mean she can react to it or change the outcome.

First Release: Two-Faced Changes
Power Appearance: Janus' release cycles what it looks like every time she uses it based on what she know's about the spiritual world. In essence, the necklace on her neck glows a different color based on the attack she uses.

The actual attack looks very weird. Another version of Janus from any number of potential futures, rushes out of her Soul Chain, almost looking like it pulls itself free of her body, rushes to a single point and attacks. Then, as quickly as the attack happens, it vanishes. Where other people use weapons Janus has her future strike for her, after all she's just a weak human.
Release Phrase: Attinto Dai Sogni
Release Ability: Janus essentially programs a clone for a single attack. It moves on a set path, to a set location, attacks, then vanishes. The weaponry it can wield varies based on which version of Janus appears, but it's power is roughly a weak sword swing or a slingshot. Janus wins by death by a thousand cuts, not by overwhelming her opponents. This power allows that to work very well. The divined futures are made of compressed reishi, Quincy attacks damage them more severely than others, but any major attack will stop the divination even before it can do damage.

NOTES: The divinations are essentially Fire and Forget, they cannot change their action, and they cannot do anything aside from the single strike they make.
