Hollow mission 1

TIAMAT
LV 51 Hollow

The Forest of Menos, a place aptly named for its environment. An enormous and lush forest, teeming with insanely powerful hollows. Most of them being menos of varying power and type, thus the name. Though there are also more powerful and smaller creatures- called adjuchtas and arrancar. This was the perfect place for Tiamat- a thriving environment of eat or be eaten, by powerful spiritual beings who's only thought, was to consume.

Tiamat herself was similar to these creatures, though her sentience was a bit above average. Maybe she was just lucky, or maybe her unrivaled hatred and dominant pride, had set her upon a pedestal during her hollowfication process. She could'n't quite recall her past... It had been several thousand years since her death. Everything blurred to her and the only things she really knew, was her insatiable hunger. As well as her keen hatred for humanity.

This day... or night? Was no different than the millennia that came before, for Tiamat. The insatiable hunger, the hunt for food. The only difference was her choice of prey. In her last one thousand years, she had evolved not just in appearance in spiritual power... but food preference as well. Preying on weak humans and other hollow was hardly satisfying to her anymore- thus it was in Hueco Mundo that she did most of her hunting now. And particularly in this forest, teeming with strong and delicious prey for her to hunt and fill her emptiness: for a time.

She could feel them all about, not so much in a sensory sense... but in a hostile sense. They were near and hungry- but so was she. Who's hunger was greater though? Who's power was stronger? Tiamat's innate persona was to never allow others to look down upon her. She was a ruler, a goddess.. even if she was a monster. She released a loud shriek to warn the others to back off. Other Menos had gathered because they sensed a fight was coming. Their idea was to pick off the victor of the next battle. Which would of course, set a chain reaction of a feeding frenzy that few hollows could survive. Still, Tiamat refused to be bullied into missing a meal.

After her shriek of intimidation, she set out on the move. There were several hollows weaker than her, nearby. Some regular hollows who foolishly ventured into the Menos forest.. others were menos themselves, weaker and gillian versions. Even some adjuchtas. As old and as powerful as Tiamat was, she had little to fear unless a horde decided to attack her as the singular victim.

She decided upon her prey, another menos with an unusual mask. This menos was close to evolution. Soon, it would evolve into a powerful adjuchtas. Which means it was full of potent spiritual energy and had yet to release it for its transformation. With a powerful stomp form her foot, she shook the forest ground and offset the balance of the menos before her.

Now was her moment to strike. After her powerful stomp, she lunged forward to close the distance between her and the other menos. The hollow had tried to charge and fire a cero at her beforehand, but her stomp had offset the timing and angle of the cero. It fired its red beam of spiritual energy, harmlessly to the side of Tiamat.

Dodging the cero and closing the distance, Tiamat was now within range. In one swift motion that didn't match her size, she lunged forward with an open maw and took a large chunk out of the menos before her. A cry of pain erupted from the menos as it felt its life force dwindling.

She savored the taste of the monster in her clutches. It was full of spiritual energy and now completely vulnerable and at her mercy. With a heartless second bite, she tore off over half of the menos' mask. For any hollow, this meant a full stop in the evolutionary process. A proverbial sentencing to death. The best thing for the menos now, was to just die and become part of Tiamat's ever growing consciousness and power.

Her hateful and hungry eyes darted about at the other menos, daring them to come forward and become her next prey. Survival instincts alone saved those hollows from becoming easy food for the much more powerful Taimat.
