Spirit Weapons System

Spirit Weapons are armaments that Quincy can create by gathering the Reishi in the air. A Quincy combines the Reishi in the atmosphere and the power of their Quincy Cross in order to form a weapon. Spirit Weapons, like Zanpakutō, are also capable of harming Hollows, which is their intended purpose. However, unlike Zanpakuto they do not possess their on individual spirit and ability in their base states and are the product of extreme control and mastery of Reishi. Their unawakened potential only allow them to simply be the catalyst to Quincy Techniques. The only thing that limits the power of a Quincy's Spirit Weapon is the Quincy's own stamina and spiritual power. These weapons in their intial form do not contain an ability or power, however upon reaching the Vollstandig state these weapons reach their perfected state and gain access to a unique ability.

In order to form a Spirit Weapon, the Quincy must meet certain criteria. All conditions must be met for the weapon to be formed.

• Above-Average Spiritual Power: A Quincy must have enough spirit energy to create a weapon and will not be able to unless their power increases.
• Quincy Cross: The Quincy cross gives the power to create the weapon, acting as a kind of focus. Without one, a weapon cannot be formed.
• Reishi Environment: Spirit Weapons rely on Reishi. There must be Reishi in the area for the Quincy to form a weapon.

These spirit weapons are even capable of allowing the Quincy to tap into further forms of power allowing them to rival the likes of Lieutenant Class and Captain Class Shinigami. These enhanced powers are known as Letzt Stil and Vollstandig and first require the creation and usage of Spirit Weapons to tap into.



To acquire a Spirit Weapon each Quincy is tasked with learning the basic Reishi manipulation through the staple Quincy Techniques Heilig Bogen and Heilig Pfeil. These techniques must be word trained to allow one to continuing the process of obtaining a Spirit Weapon. Through the process of condensing and training with the Spiritual Bow of Heilig Bogen the energy is refined and condensed into a Quincy Cross after training for a long period of time. Upon acquiring the Quincy Cross the Quincy must further preform visualizing training for an additional 5 days to form the shape of what would become their Spirit Weapon before summoning the Reishi in their surroundings to finally condenses the weapon of their spirits.



Letzt Stil is a result of further taping into the potential of the Quincy Race. This is done by establishing a connection between the Quincy’s spirit weapon and their own body, giving a Quincy the ability to collect Reishi beyond their limit. Though it grants immense power for a short period of time, a practitioner will have their Quincy powers temporarily sealed after the surge. This form of power is used to consistently temper the body and eventually allow them to perfect the connection between the user and their Spirit weapon before allowing them to tap into a perfect state of potential known as Vollstandig. To achieve this initial state of connection, the user must be Level 40 train in a topic of at LEAST 10 posts using the power of their spirit weapon to temper their body. Once the connection is established the user will be able to achieve powerful and extreme form of Reishi manipulation allowing them to tap into abilities rivaling Bankai level Shinigami experts. However once this form has been utilized a Quincy will temporarily have their powers sealed for an entire topic [At least 10 posts] lacking the ability to even access their spirit weapon. While this ability allows greater power, its main usage is allowed Quincy experts to tap into the true potential of their spirit weapons and reach the perfect state of Vollstandig.



Vollständig is nothing like Quincy: Letzt Stil. The Wandenreich view Quincy: Letzt Stil as a "relic of the past" because its very notion died out around 200 years ago due to its fragility. Thus, Letzt Stil is an obsolete technique. Vollständig allows the user to retain their powers and use it repeatedly. Several users have been known to deactivate and reactivate it several times during a day. The standard method for a Quincy to activate Vollständig is using their Spirit Weapon as a catalyst, in which the weapon will shine with a large quantity of spiritual energy before combining with their body. Vollständig takes on a variety of forms, but most commonly gives its user an angel-like appearance, with wing-like Reishi constructs and a star-like Quincy Zeichen for a halo, which is known as a Heiligenschein. Their Spirit weapon further evolves allowing the unperfected abilities of Letzt Stil to be further tempered until perfection. In addition, furthermore vast abilities allowing them to surpass even Captain level Bankai users can be tapped into. To obtain the perfect state of Quincy power Vollstandig, a Quincy must reach LEVEL 60 as well as train in a topic of at LEAST 15 posts. In doing so the tempering of the body and the connection with the users Spirit Weapon will reach a perfect state. During this final tempering procress the user will gain access to a Perfect Spirit Weapon only available in their Vollstandig form that is a pinnacle of Quincy power and ability.
