Boiz Be Doin [Missions]

Janus had a headache for the first time in a while, and she really didn't know why. The young Diviner wasn't the best in the world at anything and it seemed like something was coming but she wasn't exactly sure what. Her divination was showing her barely anything with the people on the street. It happened to have quite a few drawbacks and sometimes very few ways to help. At some point, she wished she knew what she was doing.

Janus was wearing her generic coat and was wearing a shirt that bore an image of some J-Rock group that used old watercoloring for most of their albums called Asian Kung Fu Generation. The diviner had spent the better part of the last week dealing with injuries and working, which summed up most of her time. Since she had developed more powers, everything had started to go very very well for her and she actually was quite enjoying it. There were problems, though and they continued popping up the more she learned and experimented. The monsters, seemed to get more powerful the more powerful she got. It was like a beacon, if you had it, someone would find it. That had made sense except there were times when Janus randomly fought something that was so far below her level that it made a lot of it look like child's play. It was... weird.

As Janus kept walking her divination picked up something rather interesting. She had seen portals in the futures before but never like this one. Janus didn't understand really how the interdimensional things traveled aside from just tearing open holes. Which actually sounded a lot cooler than she had seen. To Janus, things like the kaiju fight were much more interesting than just a portal to another world, especially when she wasn't entirely sure if humans would even survive in their worlds. Did masked monsters and black robes have to breathe? It was an interesting question that warranted further investigation. This portal, however looked like walls had simply opened in seconds or a mouth opened and just as she focused on the future, the portal began to open in the present. She looked at it and blinked. Janus was pretty sure whatever was happening, it wasn't good.

Janus had seen black robes, and masked monsters, she had never seen a white robed humanoid with a part of a mask. The man who was litterally, and she was still trying to wrap her head around this one, FLOATING, in front of her looked down at the human as she stared. Combat sifted through futures, but before anything happened, the thing vanished and appeared in front of her. Now they teleport, wow, that seemed fair. She thought to herself as the white-robed masked kind of thing appeared in front of her. As per usual stupid Janus, she reached out to push on the thing, then she realized the monster, couldn't move.

Divination had taught Janus many things, and made her think she was insane for a good portion of her life. What she was learning now, made no sense to her. She didn't know how monsters worked or why this one had white robes and seemed so insignificant. Maybe white robes were from the weakest dimension? Janus thought that might be the case as she moved over to the being and tapped on him as he strained to do anything more than breathe on the ground. "Are you okay mister white robed person?" She asked him, if they had hims in that dimension anyway before poking at him again.

"What Reiatsu!" The man said, though Janus had no clue what he meant. He didn't answer her though, and as she looked up, her divination pinged more of the people like him, another two of them.

The Diviner spun as the others appeared in front of her via the weird teleportation skill, and then were pasted to the ground as well. "What is wrong with you guys?" She asked, mainly because Janus knew nothing about limiting powers or releases or stuff like that. In fact, to Janus, nothing they had done made any sense at all and just seemed like they were flies going towards a fly zapper. "Seriously, get up, this is kind of weird now." She told them as she looked down at the group of white robed people and then around at the human who was most likely watching her talk to herself. "More invisibles." She sighed to herself.

Janus was going to wander off when something on her divination cofnused her, combat was still present, but these guys weren't moving. That was odd so she decided to focus on the combat and figure out what had happened. The moment she tried, one of the white robes managed to get to his knees and say something about lightning that she didn't quite catch. The sword on his waist disappeared and he gained a giant white lightning rod on his back and a tentacle for an arm. "What the hell!?"

The Diviner stated as she jumped back as a bolt struck right where she had been standing. She looked at the transformed thing and noticed it was no longer having as much issue standing near her. Maybe it was some thing with their dimension?

The diviner sent a projection at the transformed white robed man and the divination didn't get more than a foot before the white robe said the word bullet, in spanish and the projection vanished as a bolt of red energy shattered it in a second. "Okay, I want a spirit gun too." She said as she ran towards him and he used that weird teleport to get away before holding up his hand from his new perch in the sky. "Flying, spirit gun, and now a hand blast, totally fair and balanced." The diviner said rolling her eyes and immediately looking for something to get to instead of blowing up. The building she used her speed to put between her and the white robe simply crumbled as if someone had used a high stream jet on it and Janus scrambled away.

Janus ran back across the ground towards the man and tried to use her human torpedo patented technique to deal with him. She should have been smarter than that the dam thing could TELEPORT, so she simply went flying away from the white robes as the man vanished and appeared near his compatriots and looked at the diviner flying. Janus knew from her divination, that she had made a terrible mistake because she could no longer change her movement and was basically a dam trap for the man to shoot as he raised a fist and two blasts slammed into her side and leg and sent her spinning back down to earth. They did very little damage, but the slam followed by bouncing on concrete was more than enough to put Janus back on the pain train. "Owe..." The diviner stated as she heard a tearing sound and the world went quiet again.

The diviner got up and brushed off the dust, luckily the more power she seemed to get, the more resilient she seemed to be. Which was probably a good thing because she was getting her ass kicked lately. The odd thing was the whole, get pasted to the floor and then all the sudden be able to shoot super lasers and spirit guns and lightning bolts. None of it made any form of logical sense and Janus chalked it up to the fact that the white robes must have come from a magical world where this was in fact basic logic. At least being crazy for so long meant that Janus could believe pretty much anything, cause it was all probably relevant anyway.
