Shunpo Training [Beginner]

Savarin nodded as he looked across the field; functionally, shunpo was just the art of moving fast. Already as a shinigami he was far faster than any non-powered mortal; even a few days out of the academy, the reiatsu coursing through his body made him able to run fairly close to the speed of sound. While he wasn't strong compared to many of his sword swinging compatriots, he was still able to lift more than he was able to in life without an effort. So really; this was just an application of this speed combined with proper reiatsu control. Simple expenditure of energy in the right place, not forcing it into kido or anything. Really, it should be pretty straightforward.

The rookie shinigami bounced a little on the balls of his feet, looking at his destination across the training field. He just had to focus on his destination, focus the proper amount of reiatsu into his feet, and jus--

Savarin felt his stomach lurch at sudden unexpected success as the other side of the field snapped into sudden focus much faster than his considerably high run speed would allow. He promptly threw up a little in his mouth, but was happy at his success nonetheless. The voice of zanpakuto resounded in his head, muttering in its numerous voices, nothing useful, but sounding somewhat surprised. The newbie really wasn't expecting it to be that straightforward. He looked back to his starting destination, focused the reiatsu into his feet like he had a moment ago, and with a slight stepping motion, he transported himself across the field once again.

While pleased, Savarin frowned slightly at how easily that came to him, "Why is that so easy when kido is so difficult?"
